The DGG series automatic circuit reclosing can be used for overhead distribution lines and distribution substations with all voltage levels from 11kV to 38kV in 50/60HZ power systems. Its rated current can reach 1600A. The main functions of this series of automatic reclosers are to improve power supply reliability, reduce the number of power outages, enhance the stability of parallel operation of the power system, and correct false tripping. The DGG series automatic reclosing integrates functions such as control, protection, measurement, communication, fault detection, and online monitoring of closing or opening, in compliance with IEC62271 and ANSI/IEEE C37.60 standards. Product Working Principle The working principle of high-voltage automatic reclosing is mainly based on the nature of faults in the power system, most of which are instantaneous or temporary, such as surface flashover of insulators caused by lightning, and discharge of branches on the line. When these faults occur, the relay protection device will quickly activate, causing the circuit breaker to trip and cut off the power supply. Then, after a predetermined time interval, if the fault has been automatically eliminated, the automatic reclosing device will cause the circuit breaker to close again, thereby restoring power supply. This process reduces power outage time and improves the reliability of power supply. If the fault is persistent, such as line tripping, short lines, etc., the circuit breaker will trip again and no longer overlap to prevent further damage to the equipment. Technical Parameter
